Seven Sins System Chapter 570. A Very Handsome Narcissistic Peacock in Heat

Seven Sins System Chapter 570. A Very Handsome Narcissistic Peacock in Heat

I yawned. "You all go to a battle academy. You should be able to do basic strength training without crying about it."

Darren gritted his teeth. "We’re off duty! This is supposed to be our break!"

Ion groaned. "We’re supposed to be relaxing, eating good food, getting proper sleep—not getting our asses handed to us by a devil mentor!"

I arched a brow. "Then maybe you shouldn’t have dragged me across campus half-naked for no reason."

Barry wheezed. "But I didn’t do anything!"

I tilted my head. "You made me see something I really didn’t want to see, Barry."

Barry let out the most defeated groan yet.

Meanwhile, students were starting to gather, some whispering, some just watching the scene unfold.

Even some mentors and teachers were around, glancing at me in confusion—because yeah, it wasn’t every day they saw a guy in a towel sitting on a bench like an emperor, watching three students struggle for their lives.

But somehow, none of them actually approached me.

Maybe my disguise couldn’t fully suppress my aura, because their expressions ranged from hesitant to outright scared, as if they could sense the annoyance radiating from me.

Good.

Let them.

At least it meant no one would bother me while I enjoyed this entertainment.

The three idiots groaned and complained, but they kept going. The push-ups were done, the sit-ups and squats barely survived, and now, they had moved on to their laps around the park.

Darren was panting like a dying dog, Ion looked like he was questioning his life choices, and Barry? Barry was just full-on wheezing like a man who hadn’t exercised since birth.

It was glorious.

Then, out of nowhere, a familiar presence settled beside me on the bench.

I didn’t have to look to know who it was.

"They told me there was a ruckus in the male student dorm," Katrina said smoothly, her velvety voice dripping with amusement. "And that it involved you. Care to explain?"

I turned my head, meeting her piercing red eyes.

Katrina was watching me with that knowing smirk, as if she already had a guess about what went down but just wanted to hear me say it.

I sighed, tilting my head back. "Long story short, these two fools dragged me out of my dorm in nothing but a towel, convinced that their friend was dying from heartbreak."

She blinked. "…Heartbreak?"

I nodded. "Yeah. Turns out, he wasn’t heartbroken. He was just… having a very, very private moment with his laptop."

There was a pause.

And then Katrina’s lips twitched, her shoulders shaking slightly as she tried—and failed—to hold back her laughter.

I narrowed my eyes. "Something funny?"

She covered her mouth, still chuckling. "Just imagining the Lord of Wrath storming into a room and finding that."

I sighed dramatically. "It was traumatizing."

She shook her head, still clearly amused. "And now you’re making them run laps as punishment?"

"Of course. Actions have consequences."

Katrina raised an eyebrow. "And… you’re still sitting here. In a towel."

I smirked. "Yes."

She exhaled, shaking her head. "Do you remember your status?"

I scoffed. "Yes."

Her smirk widened. "And yet, here you are, half-naked in a public park, punishing students like an angry gym instructor."

I rolled my eyes. "They don’t know who I am. To them, I’m just a mentor and a combat doctor."

Katrina tilted her head, eyes glinting with mischief. "Yes, they don’t know you. But the way you act as their mentor and actually keep up the act? That’s something."

I shrugged, watching the three idiots struggle through their laps like they were running through a war zone.

"What can I say?" I said lazily. "I like to stay in character."

Katrina smirked. "That, or you’re just enjoying making them suffer."

I didn’t deny it.

Then, her sharp eyes flicked over me, scanning my very obviously half-naked state before she sighed. "And why, exactly, did you not get dressed before coming here?"

I stretched out my arms, enjoying the crisp morning air. "Devils don’t get sick. We don’t catch colds or fevers or any of that weak mortal nonsense. So why bother?"

She arched a brow. "You don’t care…" Then, she suddenly smirked again, this time looking somewhere else. "But she does."

I followed her gaze, and my smirk only widened when I caught sight of Puriel.

Standing at a distance.

Watching.

Like a hawk.

Or a stalker.

She probably thought she was being subtle, but I could feel her gaze burning into me like a damn spotlight.

Oh, this was too good.

I leaned back, arms draping over the bench, exuding maximum confidence and arrogance. "Well, well, well… Look who’s lurking in the shadows like a lost puppy."

Katrina chuckled. "She’s staring at you pretty hard."

I smirked. "Let her. She should be thanking me for providing such a glorious view for free."

Katrina rolled her eyes, but there was clear amusement in her expression. "So generous."

I waved a hand. "I’m practically a saint."

Meanwhile, Puriel was still watching.

Not approaching.

Not saying anything.

Just watching.

Like she was trying to figure something out.

Or maybe…

She was too flustered to come any closer.

‘Interesting.’

I smirked, stretching my arms again just to really give Puriel the full glorious view.

If she was going to stare, she might as well get the full experience.

Katrina chuckled, shaking her head. "You know, you’re really pushing it."

I glanced at her, still grinning. "Pushing what? I’m just existing."

She gave me a flat look. "You’re existing like a narcissistic peacock in heat."

"Correction. A very handsome narcissistic peacock in heat."

Katrina sighed. "And this is why you're impossible to deal with."

I turned my smug gaze back to Puriel, who still hadn’t moved.

She was standing rigid, arms crossed, looking like she was internally debating something very, very hard.

‘What’s the matter? Don’t know how to approach a half-naked devil in broad daylight?’

I resisted the urge to laugh.

Instead, I leaned closer to Katrina, lowering my voice just enough for her to hear. "Think she’s struggling with impure thoughts?"

Katrina snorted, barely holding back her laughter. "Wouldn’t be the first time you made someone lose their holy virtues."

I sighed dramatically. "It’s not my fault I was made this way."
