I was not too pleased about Aizawa getting on Izukuβs case either, but I got it, like you did, and I think we see a bit more of his thoughts in the next one. Anyway, he quickly became one of my favorite characters! Canβt say enough how great it is to see you enjoying the show.

In the first episode Izuku was in Junior high, which is the Japanese equivalent of middle school. Note: there are only 3 years of high school and junior high in East Asia, with sixth grade being included in elementary school. Also the reason why the teacher said that Izuku wouldn't make it as a hero made sense, though it was a bit extreme... because if Izuku could only save one person and get burned out, he would basically be useless as a hero. So I think that he wasn't being completely irrational in what he was saying.
