Season 5, Arc 2 Promo Art!

You can potentially guess some upcoming plot points from this poster, so I'm excited to see your speculation in the comments, if you want to throw a hat into the ring.

There's a couple in there that are also not correct, which I didn't mention... But I think I'll have to withhold further info for the time being for the sake of mystery and intrigue. :) Jasper and Rose ARE both looking at Steven, though that's more of a focus point instead of a specific foreshadowing, I'll say that much!

I'll say outright that you're spot-on for about 5-6 of these, depending on how they're counting, and about 4-5 more are pretty close but slightly to the left. :)

It's most likely a bubble, and the most prominent bubble of Rose's was Bismuth's. This lines up with an earlier promo image. Looking forward to whenever that arc happens. Pearl is also looking at Rose, but where her mouth is hidden from view. I'm certain it means something, but it could just be red herring. If it's not a red herring, it's most likely to do with Rose being Pink, but that's hardly new. Rose seems to be looking at either Jasper or Steven, it's not entirely clear though, although it's probably the former. This is most likely from Rose being Pink Diamond and Jasper being loyal to her Pink without knowing Rose is Pink. They also have a rivalry going too, so another duel might ensue. Connie is here, and while she isn't doing much of notice, her presence most likely signifies an impending appearance as she was last seen having some distance put between her and Beach City. CG is here. That is all. Steven is here too, but there isn't much to decipher from him, with the possible exception of him being on the same side of the picture as Jasper and being opposite Rose. Jasper is opposite Rose here and is also looking at either Rose or Steven, but I'm not certain which of the two she is looking at specifically (Maybe she is actually looking at both?). If I had to guess, it's Steven, but that's only because of her white eyes (Which means she probably isn't getting free anytime soon) and her recent trip to the Beta kindergarten with Steven, where he dispensed a much needed rebuttal to Jasper's self aggrandizing. Amethyst is looking at Jasper. She is probably still very anxious about Steven's mind control of Jasper and has some sort of pity for Jasper and her predicament. Garnet is looking towards the center of the image, although that leaves a lot of people to look at. It's probably Steven or Rose, but it's quite ambiguous to who she is looking at specifically. Greg (I wasn't sure who it was until I read some other comments) is looking away probably because he really isn't into the gem's problems, which is an ongoing issue of his. The budding plants could mean anything. It looks similar to how the Cluster was portrayed, but it could also just be a reference to the arc's name, which is probably relating to doubts sprouting, or characters furthering their own development. But it really could be anything, or nothing. The big interest is the diamond symbols at the top, which has a red/orange symbol that looks similar to the other two, with the exception of it being smaller and the corners being duller (although this could just be an issue with it being really small and a product of a resolution issue with the image). If anything, it's either a new gem has positioned herself as a junior partner to the last to Diamonds (Hessonite perhaps?) or it is a new Diamond meant to replace White Diamond/Pink Diamond. If the most powerful Diamond with multiple systems under her command suddenly went missing, that'd be a organizational nightmare for the other two Diamonds to rectify, so seeing them replace her to keep the Gempire going smoothly isn't a bad idea if I were a Diamond (I am not, fun fact). The last thing pertains to a lack of something. That something (or somethings) being Lapis and Peridot. While they appeared in the last promo, they are evidently lacking here. However, they also were on the edges of the last promo, so they might not be joining the story again for some time, although to be fair Greg was on the edges too (at least I think that large tuft of grey hair is his, I could be wrong). It might even be possible that they don't rejoin for a while (Lapidot bros are in tears right now). But that's just a theory! A Gem theory! Thanks for reading! Just to name things I see… Earl holding a pink bubble (I wonder if it seems familiar to her), Jasper’s still stuck following orders judging from her eye, the plants themselves seem kinda interesting, the blue light… maybe something warping? And seems like the… moon (White) is starting to come out more or alternatively… be overshadowed?

I'm wondering if Greg being fully turned away and hidden back there is a hint to something.... But the emblem- yellow and blue with a little orangey diamond under it- not pink.... Something about Jasper?
