sadness - 5:00 pm on a friday

this song along with "2010 flowers" is going on my split with the project "a rose dying in the rain". I'm sick of working on this song, so I'm going to consider it done even though it could be improved by recording the vocals better. maybe one day I'll rerecord the vocals but I'm tired of being overwhelmed by having so many projects and at this point I really just want to clean my slate and start something fresh, and since It's been so long since I started this song it's annoying to workon anything past a few days since its inception. I recorded all the instruments the same day (Friday, November 4, 2022 at 8:42 PM) if not in the span of two days. the fact that I started this song on a friday is a nice coincidence sincce I didn't know what the song was going to be about or called at the time. the song is about what the title suggests. these lyrics are also probably my favorite lyrics I've ever written:   --_
