I really love how this re-contextualizes all those early scenes, where Earl was just sort of hanging out in the forest or staring blankly. After all the uncertainty about how much of her was actually in control, whether she was just a puppet, etc., it's so heartwarming (for us, Steven and the Crystal Gems) to get to see things from her point of view. That she always was there.

That last bit was so adorable. And I like how Earl wasn't always under Steven's control. Knowing that she was herself after the first contact is amazing. I love this comic so much!

Honestly, in the normal comics I'll just color it black! I apologise for the inconsistency - it's just easier to do it black and white! I colored the shorts and tongue for the comic because they're plot relevant changes, but her eye is also technically Pink

Also, in the selfie her eye is pink/light red. Will that be consistent in future comics like her pants or would it just be colored black?

When earl dropped the top off the diamond salute into a heart........ I had to put my phone down. That's so CUTE and so smart I literally cannot imagine anything more succinct st showing her move from servant to friend....... anyways great job as always I love it and can't wait to see more!
