WOOP. I finally finished this. DANG. It took. So long?
Anyway, the next comic will be a 'full' comic. Earl will reform. And her and the gems are going to have a long talk. About. Things. Some flashbacks may or may not be involved. So get ready for that, I guess.
(I say this as I have neither drafted nor scripted this next comic. Back to the drawing board for me lol.)

This is so great, I love this comic so much. It feels so in canon with the characters, and using this holo pearl to poof "a pearl" likein the actual show is just SO SMART AND GARNET SENSING THAT THIS MIGHT'VE HAPPENED IN A DIFFERENT REALITY OR SOMETHING AAARGH GOOD JOB!!!

I don’t hate any of the CGs for treating Steven the way they are since they’re in a complicated position but I love the way you’re developing them to slowly but surely trust Steven again. Although I wonder why it is that Rose is starting to accept him faster than Pearl is. I Can’t wait until Pearl and Steven get a one-on-one to talk about that

2019-10-13 18:44:29 +0000 UTCFirst off, with all the jokes on your blog about Steven having a gun I think it’s hilarious that Earl actually had one. Second, BOY THIS IS EXCITING! I love seeing Steven lose it over Earl being in danger. I love that so much. It’s hard to put into words why that’s so satisfying. Third, you weren’t kidding when you talk about how long it takes you to make these comics. A lot of the season 3 ones have been super long, to the point where I’m surprised we get that much story at once. Thank you for taking the time to do all of this. It’s a treasure to be able to enjoy this craft you make on a regular basis.

It’s the perfect opportunity to show that Steven more Steven than they think. I can’t think of another reason why she would say “I have a bad feeling”, Garnet doesn’t get a “feeling”, she just KNOWS lol! She saw this as a possibility and helped make it happen. That’s just my theory tho
