I made the instrumental side of this song (with the exception of drums) sometime in 2020 but I really don't remember when. I was going to finish this song so it could be a bonus track on holding (physical) but that never happened. I didn't even have lyrics or anything until may 14 2021 when I wrote them. I didn't write them with the song in mind, but I was building off of a post I made on facebook on may 9 2020 where I just put "attention to detail bloom mayflowers". I'm talking about pretty things. being in love with pretty things, being in love, and a somewhat subconcious hyperfixation on details, from both sides. I think true attention to detail is such high level magic. to recognize and cherish a nurture, care for pretty aspects in all things considered, especially your own self, mthat's basically what I was saying when Iwrote "attention to detail bloom mayflowers".
right before I lost my files I actually had added a whole buildup and outro after what you hear here, but honestly I'm not upset that I lost it because it would have been so redudnant . I'm happy with the song structure as is
