sadness - short hair heartthrobbing

this song is also part of the 2015 songs compilation (refer to previous posts for more context). in the summer of 2015 I remember watching a specific music video for a song, and not the actual plot of the video or anything, but rather little details that I hyperfixate would inspire this entire song. then I started recording the song on july 6 2015. a few months later I started having the idea for a new music project which was basically going to be... "atmospheric nu metal?" I had 2 songs planned and clearly never did anything with them, and this is one of them. I don't know if you could really call this "atmospheric nu metal" but I also don't really care about what genre anything I do is. this works well being sadness I suppose. the song was completely instrumental until just yesterday night. I even had lyrics for this back then, but I kind of rearranged them earlier this year when I knew I was going to add this song to the 2015 compilation.

for the lyrics I took the song that was the musicvideo I mentioned, and used google translate (obviously inaccurate) and then rearranged the words to sound more like something I would say (the song is in a different language). the terrible google translation was intential, and I liked it that way , it helps it create something new, and I like the way broken syntax sounds


at this point 8 of the 16 2015 songs are finished, I hope I can finish the rest before january because I'm going to be traveling a lot
