sadness - collar

this song will appear on the full length album "april sunset", along with bigbury april twilight and all those other songs I've been posting recently. after this there is only one last song to finish (which is 99.9% done) which means I will definitely have this thing out very soon. it's exciting because I love these songs, theyre fresh and I'm proud of them, and also I havent' release a full length for sadness in a long time. the very beginning of this song is something I made in july of 2018, with the intention of being a "reggaeton" track. you can imagine that melody being accompanied by a deep bass and beat, all electronic sounds. of course I never really made that song past that, but just like the electronic sample on "bigbury april twilight", I wanted to build upon this idea and create a sadness song. also all of the electronic elements that start at around 3:30 through 7:50 were another electronic song I was making in june of 2018 (which also samples the vocals from a pop song). everything else was recorded this year in around april, when like I said in the previous posts I started writing and recording a lot for this album. the lyrics for this song is several thought diaries I had written on facebook which I combined, seemingly unrelated to eachother but I percieve a similar energy throughout them. I had mentioned in another post how I went through and saved a lotof these thought diaries (things I write sometimes and post on facebook) because I want to build upon them real complete songs/lyrics. every one of these has genuine emotion and personal meaning to it, and in many cases the emocion is so well defined (for me personally) that I can already  fully envision what the song would sound like if I made a song out of it. this song doesn't have a literal lineal story or anything to it, if anything it's really just a lot of words that have fire behind them, and sounds that sew it all together, because I really didn't have a story line for the musical side of this song either. it's kind of just music that comes directly from my head. this way the music can easily adapt to whatever the lyrical intention is and whatever imagery it happens to illicit. if there's any intention behind certain imagery it might just be "collar" itself, which is about how beautiful necks collarbones are to me." _______" means that I omited some of the lyris because I don't want ot share them.
