I wonder if the deal with Helevise, Antaras and the pregnant doe is that despite Helevise's speech, they're actually against Karuna and/or using the deer god to create fear for their own agenda, not because they actually care if deerkind become religious again. It might also tie into Karuna saying Its children have "abandoned" It, if the doe's unborn fawn have something to do with it and is what Helevise and Antura was talking about?? I'm just throwing out guesses, but I'm intrigued to see where it's going and if this is close to any of it :)
