The changes to his body were astounding, far exceeding even his most optimistic expectations. It wasn’t just his physical capabilities that had improved—his appearance had undergone a transformation as well.
His formerly lean, malnourished frame was now a masterpiece of human anatomy. Muscles rippled across his body, perfectly proportioned and exuding power. It reminded him of Captain America’s transformation after receiving the super-soldier serum. But this—this felt even more potent.
Admiring his new physique, Adam couldn’t help but grin mischievously. “Next time I see Tony Stark, I’m rubbing this in his face,” he muttered. Stark’s relentless teasing about his height would finally meet its match. Adam laughed to himself at the thought of Tony’s face when he saw him like this.
Brimming with anticipation, Adam decided to test the full extent of his newfound power. Wayne Manor’s underground training facility was the perfect place for it. Bruce Wayne’s dedication to training was unmatched, and the facility reflected that. It was equipped with everything from high-end gym equipment to a private shooting range.
“Skynet, monitor my vitals and log the data,” Adam instructed.
“Understood, Master,” Skynet replied, its calm, measured voice echoing through the lab.
Adam grabbed a 25kg dumbbell plate to warm up. The moment he lifted it, he frowned. It felt as light as a bag of chips. He set it down and reached for something heavier—a 100kg barbell. Still, it felt laughably light.
“This isn’t going to cut it,” Adam muttered. “Skynet, bring out the boxing test machine. Let’s see what I can really do.”
A few moments later, a massive machine was wheeled into the training area. It was a custom design, built to withstand incredible force—capable of handling several hundred tons of impact.
Adam approached the machine, shaking out his wrists. He took a deep breath, focused, and then unleashed a punch with all his might.
A deafening boom echoed through the training room as his fist connected with the target. The machine vibrated violently, its reinforced frame straining under the impact.
Adam glanced at the digital readout as the numbers climbed rapidly. It finally settled at 243 tons.
“Holy—” Adam stared in disbelief. That number was absurd. He hadn’t even used proper technique, yet his raw strength alone was enough to shatter records.
Skynet’s voice interrupted his thoughts. “Master, based on your current weight and speed of impact, your punch generates approximately 2 million kilowatts of power.”
Adam’s jaw dropped. “Two million kilowatts? That’s enough to power two entire cities.”
He couldn’t help but smile. The possibilities raced through his mind. With this kind of strength, he could topple buildings, crush armored vehicles, and—most importantly—stand toe-to-toe with gods and monsters. His excitement was palpable.
“It’s official,” Adam said, his grin widening. “I’ve left humanity behind.”
But amidst his awe and self-congratulation, a voice snapped him out of his thoughts.
“Who are you? Why are you here? Don’t move!”
Adam turned, startled, only to hear the sharp crack of a gunshot. A sharp, needle-like pain flared in his back as the bullet hit him.
