Version 1.1 Release
The 1.1 update for Hair Wrangler brings exciting new features and refinements, enhancing both workflow flexibility and user experience. Here's what's new:
New Features:
Per-Curve Resolution Control:
Adjust resolution individually for each curve. This offers greater control and precision when styling complex hair systems.
Improved Curve Selection:
Curves now use a transparent shader in Hair mode, making selection easier in Material Preview and Render modes. Note: Both poly and hair modes remain visible in Solid mode.
Enhancements:
Path Curve Resolution removed:
Adjust curve point radii directly using Alt+S for more intuitive control.
Dynamic Material Assignment:
Curves moved into a Hair system collection now automatically adopt the appropriate material (Hair or Poly) based on the system's current mode.
Optimized Bevel Conversion:
Bevel objects are now handled with improved logic, ensuring converted curves match their original dimensions for consistent results.
Viewport Display Options:
Simplified control over viewport settings, offering smoother performance and better previews when working with large hair systems.
Bug Fixes:
Resolved an issue with undo operations in some actions.
Addressed minor stability issues for better performance.
