Everything - Piano Version - Extra Video
Added 2019-04-18 01:00:34 +0000 UTCHey guys! I recorded a new piano version of the song Everything, which is part of my old original album, All of the Above.
This song has been A HEADACHE lately. haha! I took it to my singing class so my teacher could correct me and it's so difficuuuuult. I've been singing it wrong for so long that if I don't concentrate 100% all of the time, I go back into old habits. And even when I do concentrate, I still revert to old ways.
Singing lessons have been great, but also testing my patience a bit. It frustrates me that I can't do everything correctly. I slouch, I stop supporting the voice with the diaphragm, I open my mouth too much, too little, too wide, I forget to raise my eyebrows... hahahaha!
I've been recording the lessons on a portable recorder for reference... maybe I can find a clip to show you what I mean... So you get an idea of just how many times my teacher stops me to correct something.
But it feels so good to have this challenge. I think it's important to stick with it and hopefully I'll have a breakthrough one of these days.
And I'm thankful to have found a teacher that cares so much he doesn't settle for anything less than my best. As frustrating as it can be at times, I know it is a privilege to study with someone like that.
