Here it is - I hope you like it as much as a whole rather than in pieces. :)
The manuscript is going to Royal Guard for narration today - as soon as I get done adding pronunciation guides and character notes.
I am absolute hell on narrators, I think. In this one they have to deal Romani and Ancient Greek. In my Sutherland books, I've thrown every British dialect, French, German, and Punjabi swears at Elizabeth and she's nailed them all ... including having to sing a Welsh lullaby. In Welsh. Let's see how the Warlock narrators do. :D

Listened to the audible version the second time. The narrators are perfect for this. I really think Lewis and Rozelyn are underrated as narrators…

I love so many things about this series if I listed them all my post would be an essay. I'd just like to leave two humble requests for some things I hope you consider releasing on Patreon or putting in the next book, because I'd love to see them! First is a Mel or Sam POV of Noah’s kidnapping. Someone mentioned this before already and I agree I’d love to see how they react to Noah’s disappearance and try to find him, Sam’s worry and discovery of her love resonant plus Mel’s fury. Secondly, I’d like to see the Coven’s and specifically Noah’s magic abilities flesh out in Book 3, especially closer to a big battle or confrontation. Would like to see them all hone their spellcraft to become truly powerful and be able to defend themselves against threats :)

I like that things aren’t instantly okay and there’s tension in the group with her inclusion. The reasoning behind her behavior was also foreshadowed enough that I didn’t feel like it came out of nowhere. Lastly, the conflicts with her never crossed whatever completely unforgivable line I personally hold for her character even if I don’t like her yet.

2025-01-22 15:41:45 +0000 UTCThe one thing I did not like about book 2 was the trope of rehabilitating the asshole that MC has been in a serious conflict with. This is a very common, and in my opinion, annoying trope in harem lit. I didnt like Cassandra and I didnt want to see her rehabilitated.

I'll try Into the Dark next since I enjoy your writing quite a bit! Kinda hoping Into the Dark is more space opera and less fem pov harem since I'm not into that :)

Then I found out about Alexis Carew and proceeded to binge read all of those, I'm just about to start book 7! Can't wait to see where you take both of these incredible series. Thank you!
