Coming Soon on Audible

The length should be between 13-15 hours, given the length. I let Royal Guard pick the narrators, we'll see.

I'm also a huge audiobook fan, and own well over a thousand of them. Life keeps me busy, and time to just sit and read is often hard to find. Audiobooks allow me to read AND do something else. A great night, when not with friends/family, involves relaxing by playing a video game with an audiobook playing through my headphones. While I have enjoyed a lot of OTR shows, I'm not a fan of trying to turn books into something like a show. Most novels are not screenplays, so they aren't best expressed as one. A couple good narrators are awesome, and I love when multiple voices are done well, but more than acting through tone of voice and minor sound effects (or better yet, none) tends to detract from the story. That said, you might have meant exactly that—just some some tone of voice level acting and different character voices/accents/etc. So we may be in complete agreement. 😁

Yes they are, and i think Duengon Diving will be narratet ba them to by the next release

+1 on Jessica Threet and Chris Boucher, I loved them on the Ard’s Oath series. I think they are one of the best duets in this genre.

Todd King

I’m so excited you got a duet to do this. I think I’ll purchase and listen to it to prep for the book 2 release!

I'm really glad you got a pair to do the narration. It's SOOOO much better than just one. I really like the Reborn as a Space Mercenary series, but the audio version is done by one dude. The book is one guy and a ton of ladies. Does NOT make sense. If there's only going to be one person it would be better to have a lady do it. Oh well. Looking forward to Warlock for sure.

Thank you for the Audiobook. How long will this audiobook be? And im sorry (not that one person matters much) but i will most likley just buy the audiobook listen for half an hour and remember why i dislike this pair of narrators. Im sorry.😅 but this may well be just personal preffrence But very good choice for two people to record the audio its just way better to listen to than anything else. Ps: if you are intrested, two other author's had to have rerecord entire series of books or switched narrators because audiobooks in this genre had so much less sales with them as opposed tho the other big narrator pair Jessica Threet and Christopher Boucher

I' edit: no idea how I posted just that. 🤣

I've listened to ALOT of audiobooks. I really think dual narration, or even a small cast, is FAR superior to a single voice actor. It just adds depth to the story when you can recognize characters by their "voice". I like to point out Coven King in the Haremlit genre as an example because that book puts on a performance. Which is another advantage. It's not just one stuffy old guy but an acted out performance of the novel. Like an old-timey Radio Show, if you've ever listen to one of those. And I appreciate it. Thank you. Warlock immediately climbed to the top 3 books in the genre for me. I am very much looking forward to more.

It'll be on Audible in 1-3 weeks, I'm told. We can thank the good folks at Royal Guard for reaching out to me with an offer -- audio for this was pretty low on my list because I've never had to wrangle dual narrators before.

Daniel Kensington

Fuck. Yes. Is it on Audible? I drive alot and only read before bed. I much prefer audiobooks because I can listen while driving but understand they are an expense that may not always be worth it. (Also, voice acted scenes are... yeah...)
