The 'Tapphouse' Times (May 2021)

Hello, good evening (or morning), Sexy Patrons, WELCOME...to the middle of the month! This is the point in the month where you join me, the developer, in: What's up with Tapp?!

That was fun to write

Now then! Development has slowed slightly due to some real life issues but more importantly direct development and back end stuff I'm doing! 

1. The classic Writers Block had me beat for a few weeks so I couldn't make direct progress with the final parts of the current project. HOWEVER, that was mitigated with aggressive bug fixing, polish, and little added details wherever I could. Recently I bit through part of the block and am trying to work out the last few scenes of the game!

Aside from any general last-minute balancing I'm doing, what I have left is mainly making sure the game functions properly, checking spelling/grammar, and cutting as much unused fluff from the database as possible. Otherwise it's finding a script or making an asset or two.

2. Here's one of the things that weren't directly related to game development: I was sitting and wondering how I could make finding my work a little easier, really raking my brain and eventually talked with someone. I started casually talking about the FANTASTIC Friday Night Funkin on.....wait a second....

I now have a swanky Itch.io page! This removes the need to hunt down a google drive link and makes my content easier to find and hopefully share! My last three full releases are in there (The Maid Problem got a tiny new coat of paint) and I'm currently reworking the full preview I posted to the booru to post there. Things have changed somewhat between then and now so I want this new one to better reflect what I'm working with. I'm even trying to make a few custom thumbnails so that's fun! This whole thing is where the last 4th of my effort has been going towards this month. Laying the ground work and all that good stuff!

This list of 'accounts Tapp has opened' is starting to get a bit long for my tastes...watch how there's then gonna be a twitch account, a picarto account,  a Mastadon account,  heaven forbid a Reddit, AND FOR SOME REASON twitter joins the fray, and after all of that I break and make a MySpace account, by then my brain would be so horribly fried trying to juggle all of these that a bot that replaces me and starts ghost writing all my updates with eerie flat tones.

A-Anyways! There's still a lot I need to do but that finish line is getting closer!
