Release Notes: Monster Girl Tailes Patreon Release 0.38.1

Before You Pledge: If you have been a Novice Hunters ($5 USD) or above any time between July 2022 and December 2022 there is no need to increase your pledge.   Check your messages for a Patreon only link tot he build.

This release was mainly about replacing the old tool I was using to author dialogue for all characters and also to inject an actual story line.

This begins with Sensei, Himeko and Yuki and how you will be given tutorials an outline of what the story is and your part in it.

This involved deconstructing much of the project and rebuilding it from scratch.

Warning

This release includes large changes that resulted in a save file reset and only Sensei, Himeko and Yuki can be spoken to.  Much of the game story is currently been rewritten and some parts are incomplete

Improvements

• New Character: Added a dragon above Autumnwood.
• Dialogue: Added all new dialogue and story for Sensei.
• Dialogue: Removed the old dialogue system and replaced it with a more sophisticated tool.
• Outfits: Sensei now has a new state of undress for story pacing i.e. Shirtless with bra and skirt.
• Optimisation: I have made numerous changes to improve performance
• Animation: Characters will strip as they remove clothing.
• Animation: More animations have been added during in dialogue to better show personality.
• Animation: Added personal idle animations for characters in game world and Journal.
• Visual FX: Campfire will only be visible at night.
• User Interface: Included background so credits can be read.
• User Interface: Replaced circles with love hearts in H Scene.
• User Interface: Replaced circles with love hearts in Journal.
• User Interface: Polished appearance of character portraits in Journal.
• User Interface: Added a window background for Journal.
• Save Files: Moved file path to support multiple users on a PC.
• Level Design: Removed some trees to improve visibility in Autumnwood.

Bug Fixes

• Lighting: Autumnwood lighting will no longer look dim when first starting the game.
• Visual FX: Camp fire near Kuroka now renders properly on any camera angle.
