WIPs, Zodiac Mod & Update

Hello everyone! Thank you for being so patient lately. I am super excited about the projects I am working on right now.

I am working on multiple requests, a variety of careers, aspirations and traits, which are lined up for release throughout August and September. (I am really sorry for the wait for some of you guys for these).

On top of that I am working on the complete collection of my likes and dislikes, new teen aspirations, and a zodiac mod.

Right now, I’d like to share a bit more about the zodiac mod I am working on.

Currently, it works with seasons. Sims get certain zodiac signs depending on whether they were born in winter, spring, summer, autumn, and depending on which day of the week.

The zodiac sign gets added via gameplay once the Sim is born, ensuring Sims born on the same day in a particular season get the same zodiac sign. For example, twins will have the same zodiac. For Sims who are being loaded into the game from CAS (for instance), who were not born into the world, their zodiac will be randomised, OR chosen by the player.

The zodiac sign will impact gameplay, wants and fears, there will be zodiac compatibility like in Sims 3, so Sims who have signs that are incompatible will find it harder to build relationships and visa versa. Zodiac signs will also add more depth to traits and buffs.

I will most probably be making other versions of the mod for players without seasons, and players who want the ability to add a zodiac sign to Sims via CAS.

I might also make a version that impacts what traits your Sims can have depending on their zodiac, but I’m not sure if this is a bit restrictive and unrealistic.

Lastly I would just like to add, that when the Sims release their fix patch sometime over the next few days, I will be updating my mods.
