Sims 4 'PTSD' Trait

Disclaimer: If you think this could harm you in any way shape or form, or cause you any distress, please don't download it!!

This trait will add a 'PTSD' trait under 'Emotional' category in CAS.

Your Sim also has a chance (between 8 and 15%) of randomly getting the PTSD trait after experiencing traumatic events, including:

-break-up, divorce, death of loved one, family, friend or pet, demotion, being fired, being cheated on, parents divorcing, and death of spouse. (if you can think of any others, let me know).

If your Sim already has the CAS Personality PTSD trait, they cannot get the Gameplay PTSD trait through traumatic experiences.

Your Sim will be able to go to a rabbit hole PTSD therapy session. They can sign up via household tab on the computer, and can make themselves go to therapy in an interaction under the 'PTSD' pie menu when clicking directly on your Sim. Therapy Sessions last one to one and a half hours, and is available Mon-Sat, 9am-7pm. Once your Sim has gone to therapy, they will receive a random buff about their session, and will not be able to go again within the next 24 hours.

Your Sim has a random chance (8%) of recovering from PTSD from therapy, whether they have the gameplay acquired trait, or the CAS trait. Upon removal of the trait, a notification will tell your SIm to stop PTSD therapy via the computer, which you can do at any point after signing up also. If you think I should increase the 8% chance, let me know!

There are occasional buffs your Sim will get such as:

'What Was That Noise?!'+2 Uncomfortable, 'The Shakes'+3 Stressed,  'Flashback'+2 Dazed, and more.

Your Sim will get a stressed buff outdoors, and will sometimes get a negative buff from nightmares during sleep, and a trigger seen on TV.

Happy, Playful, Confident moods are 0.4x less effective and impactful.

Angry, Stressed, Uncomfortable. Embarrassed moods are between 1.2 and 1.4 more effective and impactful.

Friendly and romantic relationships increase 0.6x slower than usual, but relationships with pets increase 1.6x faster.

You should add C-ptsd

I love this mod I have PTSD among other things and I find that this mod makes my me-sim far more accurate but I can't find the therapy option :( (also u should totally add panic attacks/anxiety attacks/flashbacks I get them a lot and when it comes to those and nightmares I'd add fear to it because often when I wake up from a nightmare or am going thru a panic attack/flashback I get really scared :) but other than that this mod is absolutely fantastic and I really appreciate the additions of mental health traits in sims because sims is a very happy unicorns rainbows and cotton candy type game and unfortunately that's not life so I like the realism anyways thank you for making this!
