Glamour 0.26

We spent a lot of time on 0.25 and had to release it very late into the month. We couldn't spend as much time on 0.26 because then we'd have to release it in June. Because of that, we've decided to only spend a couple of weeks on 0.26. So we've thought to ourselves about what's the best we can do in only two weeks and decided to focus on fixing existing problems. This update might not have any new content, but we have fixed _a lot_ of bugs, inconsistencies, fixed many quests etc.

Gameplay improvements

Added the "go home" button to the main hall and the entrance in college.
Most of the dialogs with classmates now allow to pick another topic without ending the conversation.
Kate doesn't get automatically teleported home after working in the medical office anymore. There's now a button to teleport home in the college hall, so the option to teleport home is still there for those who want it.
Some of the earlier events had too many cooldowns or RNG. We've toned them down so there's less downtime between events.
Kate can go to Alice's house more than once per day after she's allowed to visit.
Kate can now take a closer look at Nick's toys in the basement. In the future we'll be adding new ways to interact with them.
The game now autosaves after more overnight events (like, say, with Julia or Nick). The only exception is Kate spending the night on the villa since there's a late night streaming show event AND a morning shower event. Once Kate gets more freedom on the villa, we'll add an autosave on the villa too.
In the past Monica wouldn't talk to Kate about money unless she worked at least seven shifts in the hotel. Now the dialog option is available even if Kate only worked for one shift.
Angela used to have a cooldown between two dialogs about work, so people didn't know they had to go and talk to her a second time. We removed this cooldown.

Questlog improvements

The game has a lot of interconnected quests where one quest depends on players getting to a certain progress in another quest. From now on, quests become inactive when they require progress somewhere else. It helps with avoiding spoilers and it helps players to focus on other quests.
We added a lot of new quest steps and helping tips in the existing ones to make the whole thing more clear. Here's the full list:
The Job quest now has new hints about what to do. It will also stay active as long as there are still undiscovered events with key residents: Candy, Fedor, and Neil.
Added a new hint in the Flirt quest so players know they need to talk to Lien.
The College quest had some old text about Kate being too shy to undress in front of the girls. It was a temporary text we were supposed to remove once we add college lessons, but we forgot to remove it in time.
The Investigation quest had a problem where it wouldn't say what to do next, so now there's a new step telling players to talk to Sophie.
The "Progress (spoilers)" quest was changed a lot. It was one of the first quests showing players what they were missing to unlock the new update, so we gave it a generic name even though it was a quest about a specific update. So now it is correctly renamed into the Boyfriend quest, it doesn't spoil too much in the early game, etc.
We also changed the quest itself a lot. In the past it had a counter of all events with Nick players had to catch. We reworked it so now it has more clear guidelines what to do next and it doesn't require catching every random event anymore.
At some point the Nick quest requires more progress in the Special chemistry quest. So the quest now has a new step telling players to go and do that. The Nick quest also temporarily becomes inactive so it doesn't annoy the players.
The "0.20 (spoilers)" was also renamed. Now it also only unlocks after implementing college punishments during lessons.
The Medical office quest now has a progress indicator.
The game wasn't clear about what to do after Kate took a second quarter of the pill. Now this quest has multiple new steps telling exactly what to do if people get stuck.
The Veronica quest shows up right after Kate asks her about tutoring. Also, now Veronica might agree to tutor Kate almost right away without waiting for a day. The quest now clearly says what to do.
Once Kate finds the Flamingo card, she thinks about asking Helen, but the questlog never says this information. We've added a new quest step to make this moment more clear.
The Adam quest had a step where it looked like there was no more available content, while the game actually required more progress with the Special chemistry quest. There's now a hint for that.
Events with Julia and Nick now have new steps describing what happened and explaining what to do in the questlog.
Many quests now has new header images in the questlog.
The Massage quest becomes active once Kate sleeps with Alice for the first time, and there's now a hint about other requirements to unlock it.
The College committee quest now has new steps telling players to talk with Nicolas about Veronica.
At some point Nicolas refuses to pay Kate's rent and there was no active quest in the questlog. There's now an active quest, telling players what to do in this situation.
The Flirt quest now has a new line about inviting Sophie to the cafe. This step wasn't obvious and could stay active even if the Sophie quest was completed.

Mechanical improvements

We've changed the events with sunbathing in Julia's backyard. For now it doesn't have any new content, this but rework will become important in the future, including when we'll start working on the Maria and Peter quest.
Save names can be longer now.
Maria and Peter got their NPC Mapping tags in the settings.
Reworked the wardrobe. It now shows all Kate outfits. For example, once Veronica gives Kate a new sportswear, the new one replaces the old model in the wardrobe.
There's also a birthday suit once Kate promises Julia she'll start sleeping naked.

Graphical improvements

Reworked images for the backyard minipool when Kate joins Julia.
Maria got new dialog images and portraits. She also got new clothes.
Alice and Kate can now go to the cafe in their uniforms. They used to go there straight from college but somehow change on the way, which didn't make any sense.
Reworked portraits for many different NPCs. Hair, eyes, some had dark borders, etc.
Added missing images where Nick was cumming on Julia and Kate. Whoops.

Changes in events.

Fixed mistakes where Julia would change between dialogs and events where she shouldn't have.
Changed triggers when Alice was inviting Kate to the cafe. This event was hard to catch after we implemented PE class.
Reworked the cafe invitations in general. Now people don't wait for Kate after classes and meet at the place at 16:00 so they have enough time to change in their casual clothes.
Alice and Sophie are more likely to agree when Kate asks them to the cafe. They also don't have cooldowns anymore, Kate can ask them out every day.
Removed cooldowns on catching Julia and Nick at the very beginning of this storyline.
Kate used to wait a day between visiting the villa in the beginning of the story, we removed this cooldown too. The map marker won't be disappearing anymore, it will just have a different description. At some point the story will require more progression in the Special chemistry quest, so the map marker will disappear for a time.
Significantly reworked triggers related to Nick. Previously, Kate had to see four scenes in the bedroom or the bathroom, wait for a while and then finally unlock a new dialog with Julia. Now the dialog opens up on a second day, after seeing only two scenes. You can keep peeking on them to see all options, or you can talk to Julia to skip ahead.
Now (in the beginning of the game only) not only Nick can visit every day, he can even visit a second time in the evening.
Removed some cooldowns between dialogs with Julia about Nick.
Now Nick will guarantee to stay overnight when he's needed for the Special chemistry quest.
Events with Adam have drastically decreased cooldowns between events.
The scene with Julia and Nick watching TV when Kate comes back from college will stop showing up after a certain point so it doesn't annoy the players anymore.
Same goes to the late night events. Kate will catch Julia and Nick only once in couple of days.
Changed the image for the "skip classes" buttons. It needed an update once we added the PE lessons.
Once the game starts the events with Julia, Nick, and Kate in Julia's bedroom, Nick starts visiting almost every day. This lasts up until a certain point after which things go back to normal, so players don't have to wait Nick's visits.
If Julia asks Kate to have some fun and gets turned down, she'll wait for a longer time until asking again. Same goes to Nick. Agreeing with her will lead to a shorter cooldown.
If Kate completed the villa quest then at some point Alice will walk up to her in college and will give her $500 for all the work she's done as a maid.

Fixed bugs

Fixed a funny bug when sometimes Kate would get invited to the cafe by one person, but the date itself would be with someone else.
Fixed the bug in the cafe where Lisa would be wearing anything but what she's supposed to be wearing.
Fixed a bug where Kate could talk to Andrew about hacking the laptop and tell him about the cameras before she learned about them from Nicolas.
Fixed the bug where Sophie would accidentally teach Kate two flirting techniques, including the one Kate was supposed to learn from Lien.
Fixed the bug where sometimes players had to click on Julia twice. Oh, and sometimes Julia wouldn't show in her room even if she was there.
Fixed a bug where some images on the laptop had the wrong layer and were somehow behind the backs of the students sitting in front of the laptops.
The Medical office quest was used to show up as completed one step earlier than it was supposed to. Also, completing this quest now activates the Special chemistry quest.
Fixed a bug where you could save while Nick was visiting Julia, load, and Nick would disappear.
Fixed the trigger where players could take the special pill when Nick wasn't home and he'd magically teleport home in the very next step.
The game had a bug where players could skip all events with Oscar and jump to the end of the questline if they take the pill in the first night without going to college.
The event with taking the pill in the villa for the very first time had a missing step at the end.
Fixed a bug where Kate would come in the villa in the clothes Alice hasn't gifted her yet. Also, changed the clothes in the first Alice's show.
Removed the option to copy Alice's homework while Kate was in the villa.
Now while playing as Kate, Lisa doesn't talk to Ann in the evenings.
The game had the wrong lightning when clicking on Alice sitting behind her laptop at 23:00.
Sometimes despite playing as Kate some villa events and dialogs were being displayed from Max's perspective.
One of the dialogs with Julia about Nick used to have a weird change of clothes that was resulting in graphical artifacts as images with a question sign.
Many events didn't recover Kate's energy when she would sleep somewhere other than Julia's house or if there was a late night event. Kate would often wake up tired or would lose some energy. Also, the energy should stop dropping after sleeping for three hours.
Fixed some bugs related to punishments in the principal's office. Sometimes characters were displaying wrong sprites, and sometimes even the characters would disappear. The event has a lot of variations so it might still be missing some stuff.
We always try to go over the old texts and this update is no exception. None of it is big enough to mention in the change log, though, so I guess this is where we say "fixed loads of minor spelling and grammar issues".

We have fixed a lot of stuff in these two weeks. Unfortunately, we didn't have the time to add new content. We still had to do it, though. Let us know if we missed any bugs.

We have plenty of new images for 0.26, but we didn't have the time to implement it into the game. They won't go to waste, of course, we will add them into the game at a later date.

0.27 will be focused on Max. We'll be announcing more sometimes soon. We'll try not to focus on one thing for too much and hopefully we'll be able to add various content with many different villa residents.

As usual, today is May 9th and 0.26 is released for our $40 Patrons. $20 Patrons will get it on the 16th, $10 Patrons — May 20th, $5 Patrons — May 23rd, same day we release the offline version for the 0.25.

As always, your client will update to version 0.26 automatically (including images).

Please read my comments on the "Mar 13 at 3:02pm Glamour 0.24" post. Sorry it,s a bit angry but it does explain the problems with playing Max at this time. My advice is to wait until you have access to "0.27" before trying to play Max, in my opinion until he is updated, he is not really playable!.

Hello Guys, First I really enjoy this Game. But I have some Questions - Is ist a Error that my Numbers didn´t Change at all. Never my Sexual Intrests, nor my Dancing or PE. And only some of my Shool skills change. - I have no Speech during the punishment in the Office, even if I only watch. - Zoe said if i feel strange i should visit and tell her, but I can´t. - Is there a way that Kate only Massage Girls? I do not see any of this content on the new update. I posted my issue earlier and I still am having troubles. I think I am still on 25 content. But have the newest update loaded. I deleted and reloaded twice now. I know the new content is suppose to update itself. But I am playing Max and all I get to do is watch porn on tv with Kira and I am still only at the house. I was having difficulty with the game updating as well and not getting any feedback from DS. I reloaded the client again and noticed that if I opened the game and clicked on the patron button it did not show that I was a patron which I found odd since my patron membership pages at their site shows that I was a 5 dollar member. So for shits and grins I used the tab in the opening game page to pledge the 5 dollars again. Within a few minutes of doing that the game updated. I will monitor to see that I am not double charged but now the game is completely updated. Not sure what is going on but it worked, Hopefully will not have to do it again for the next update.

Ok. Ive tried the new version, i still have a few game balance, internal logic issue. Like you join Julia for lunch, because she eating for fixed time if you join early enough means you can join for a senond time and eat a second lunch 1 minute after you just finished your lunch and your hunger is at 100. I think if your hunger is above certain value (like 70-75) the "join" should be grey unavailable choice option, so you cant eat if you are full, how you cant masturbate if your arousal is too low. It would be much more role play friendly. //by the way energy, arousal higher means bigger. So hunger implies same, therfore eating increases your hunger. It would be more standardized and logical if it gets renamed to food or even statiety, glut, repletion...// 2) I can see sunbathe and "swim" changed from 1h to 15 minuetes and before action shows how long will take. Great. But one thing as those pictures on subscreen without clock and image is static, you cant know if actually you clicked on it, anything happened or just lost your click in the response delay. I suggest to put up clock on those screens or make them slowly darken and re brighten the picture how usually games showing the time skip.

Небольшой баг: в медкабинете, когда начинаются совместные осмотры, на стуле в левой части экрана должен сидеть следующий осматриваемый, но по факту там несколько спрайтов учеников накладываются друг на друга. Ну и раз следующее обновление за Макса, крайне нелогичным выглядит отсутствие возможности проматывать время в режиме просмотра камер.

Microtom made a list of typos and grammar errors and put the google doc in discord. In Max's villa there is no go to the city button only go home which is Julia's house, even if my default living place is with veronica and pain in bum to go to Julia than the hotel if i wanna go to hotel. For Kate Max is inaccessible unlike Lisa when they sitting together in their bedroom. More notes for in game consistency and standardizing: Ann, Kira and Max missing the stat mentions of Relationship, Romantic Interest, Open-mindedness.... Kira also missing the personal reference (like Max is "Funny Guy") come on at least give her some Mysterious Woman or something.

Ok i will tell you for another time. Its not a bug more of a game desing fault. The debts towards Fedor shouldn't be hidden in the quests, I believe it should appear on the character sheet. If it already has a section for debts. When your pole dance and strip skills reach current max Veronica shouldn't take your money and give you more lessons.
