i also really love Daemon's character cause he just seems to embody the spirit of a dragon,he doesnt care what others think,always is just soo cocky and sly,but for me personally you can see he genuinely does love his family,he might be a dick and talk shit but i still feel like he would defend and fight for his family if someone threatened them and i feel he is frustrated with how Viserys is ruling as he is a weak king and doesnt really seem to embody the same energy as typical targaryens do,Daemon seems to want his family to be respected and also feared in a way and that isnt happening with Viserys on the throne
