But i really like it was an overall lost, yk? it wasn’t like we almost did it, we were completely crushed but that means we all have room to improve even more. What hit me the most here was Aomine’s words to Kuroko. You saw the OVA, they were literally what we would call best friends, partners, comrades, the light and the shadow, but he can just roast him like that. Tell him he’s basically useless and that his basketball will never win. Kuroko up until now, has been pretty emotionless and very settle down, but i bet its pretty damn hard to hear the person who was your best friend to talk to you like that. It actually gives more depth to their relationship and rise questions about what happened in middle school between them and the other miracles that let to Kuroko leaving the team. Kuroko has always been the shadow to their success, now Aomine has reminded him that hes below them again. It’s really sad and f up ngl. But at the same time I’m glad because Aomine getting him mentally shows how important Aomine’s approval its for him, since he was his previous light, and it also proves that Kuroko its a human too, that can feel lost and feel bad. He’s not a robot.
