It's a pretty extensive makeover of a picture from 2003 or something. Not just a touch up. Are they ever just touch ups? Yes, some are. Most aren't though. I let myself get carried away. I like that. Art is just letting your tools lead the way, in my case it's the digital pen.
I thought this was a good visual idea when I found this again in my archives, but it looked quite dated and it could do with more attention. I was happy to see a completely new woman emerge from the original, of a type I actually haven't painted before often, or ever, I'm not completely sure. And when she was done, I added another, just for kicks. And I like her too.
I should do more like these, I say. You might say nay, I would say Yay! :D
By the way; the original could pass ordinary social media censorship even when she's not wearing anything. This new version is much less forgiving and to be honest, I would not try to post the original uncensored either. The hypocrites rule those platforms. I say Facebook, Insta, Tumblr (I haven't been there in months, since the rules changed massively). They might consider it offensive.
