Added 2021-02-18 11:01:50 +0000 UTCWith Netflix you can watch the old stuff again, in bulk and so I did with Star Trek. I'm watching the very first 3 series. I've never been a Starwars fan, just because I always found it much too cute, with all the cuddly aliens and such. Star Trek always was more interesting to me. Even the really old series. It takes some time to get back in that ancient slower pace, but once I got there it's still quite nice. I like the diversity of the entire crew, way before that became a thing in showbizz, the beauty of the female crew and the hidden sexuality hinted at regularly, here and there probably not so politically correct but still entertaining nonetheless.
I've done some Star Trek inspired work before, but here's a better one and I love the 1960's look I finally managed to get in there, for this alluring Enterprise anthropologist on the verge of exploring new life and boldly go where no woman has gone before (and I can vouch for that) The hairdo actually came by in an episode and it seems that it helps a lot to get the vintage vibe in there. I should've known.
There are more naughty Patron versions of this, that the original series would never have shown. Of course, I'd say. Because, maybe that's also the final frontier?
