Added 2022-04-03 23:06:01 +0000 UTCLong story short, I have had a helluva time with this story and it has to do with the difficulties of writing something that's much closer to slice of life than I have previously.
I've been wondering if I shouldn't throw most of this away and go back to the drawing board to do a more traditional adventure format, but I kinda like these characters and it IS an interesting experiment for me. Some of you may know that Velise in its original conception was supposed to be more of a slice of life sort of thing, but turned into an adventure because, well, that's the way the story went. THIS story is more along the lines of what I thought THAT story would be, and I'm ambivalent about that, so much so that I stopped work on it entirely as I thought through whether or not I really wanted this to be the result.
As always, your thoughts are welcome, and I hope you'll forgive me the gap in Patreon releases.
