Html5 Engine LOADS!
Added 2020-05-31 09:38:41 +0000 UTCSo, I've been quite sad with how little progress has been coming, flash is statistically nearly dead (browsers are blocking flash and making it hard for people to activate it). Some of my friends websites/portals are getting 1/10th of what they used to earn because of this, which means they worry they have to stop making games or something.
I am grateful for the support I get here, and constantly trying to find a way around this slight problem of flash. I ported some of this engine into Unity, but no matter what I can do things are still clunky... getting the game to run in mobile just takes many seconds to run, even without anything in it... Unity is one of the better options for mobile, it just isn't good enough.
So I had this html5 engine I've been porting/working on, and it was not working locally due to more browser restrictions (CORS issues), and a few days ago I got them working, somewhat... audio still doesn't work, not sure how to fix that yet..
The game is still in my heart, even if I am a bit depressed thinking about all the work to convert so much into html5...
The main takeaway from the screenshot, is it working (somewhat), on file:// which means people can play locally...
