One of those older images that I found again browsing my archives, and changed. I don't think I even posted it before, but it's at least from 2013. The thing was that both characters were painted after a live model and she changed her mind. That has actually happen more than once. They come over, have a lot of fun posing and enjoy seeing the artistic process, genuinely love what I do, but then their situation gets in the way. Work, partner, family or whatever. I never understood. As posing nude for an artist they have not seen before, seems quite a feat, I'd expect they think about it thoroughly. Some obviously just jump in without thinking and get cold feet after. Highly annoying really. Although I could just post what I painted, be it without tagging them, as they really agreed in writing with the concept before and during the whole process, I don't like to. I don't want any negativity tainting my work and if I look at a painting I don't want to think they're scared or unhappy, and myself be reminded of the models that chickened out every time I see it, either. Instead I rather change the characters so that they don't look like the model(s) anymore. With this one I didn't even do that. I put it away and forgot all about it until I found it again recently. After all these years it didn't matter whatsoever and I liked working on it some more to do the changes. It's just a nice image, with or without the actual model.
