They weren't sure how long bts could stay popular for and like you mentioned, that probably adds another layer of emotions to the mix. Performing on stage in front of thousands of people who love you, look up to you, has got to be so overwhelming that you lose control of your body and cry. The adrenaline is on another level. During that interview with Pharrell Williams a few years ago even he couldn't understand how bts could perform in these massive stadiums while STILL remaining extremely grounded and humble. He commemorates their strength and bravery as a team because not many people are doing what they're doing! Continuously sending positive messages to the world.
