I mean.. it's not even a problem that it has the name "호박고구마", because it is naturally known. There is even a very funny and famous meme about "호박고구마" which is from a Korean sitcom, even tae imitated the meme in one of bon voyage or some clip. It is not that the things which is unusual or not normal to someone are also unusual to other people or don't exist in the world. I know it goes same for me. But I just wanted to share the right information with you guys ,who love BTS and interested in Korean culture. This is the reason why i sometimes feel frustrated when I try to communicate with foreigners or oversea Koreans but i understand, because we can share the information and learn from each other! :)

"호박고구마" is an improved or enhanced variety or strain of "물고구마". So it's the outcome of the mix of"물고구마" and "호박". In Korea, there are many other improved or enhanced strain vegetables and fruits, such as "오이고추"(paprika plus pepper, pepper which is not spicy at all and fresh like cucumber), "콜라비"(kohl plus rabic, which is cabbage plus turnip in German), "쪽파"( green onion plus onion), "플럼코트"(plum plus apricot), "천혜향(tangerine plus orange), and so on. BTS is also Korean band , why would they call it "호박고구마" if they don't know about it.

"호박고구마" is a kind of several kinds of sweet potatoes that Korea have. There are " 물고구마", "밤고구마", "자색고구마", and "호박고구마". yeah, you might see more and often "밤고구마" (purple and brownish outside and pale and yellowish inside) in Korea, but "호박고구마" is also very famous in Korea. And even now in my refrigerator I have the "호박고구마" salad now. :)

I am Korean too, and have lived my whole life in Seoul except the time when i went to US as an exchange student. Its official name is "호박고구마"(pumpkin sweet potato), so it's not like an employ in supermarket randomly labeled on it as "호박고구마" and people call it as the name.

Usually in supermarkets they label these orange ones as "Pumpkin Sweet Potatoes" so I think that's where they get the name from haha, but yes the pale ones are a lot more common

I'm Korean, and during the time I lived in Korea, I only ever ate the pale sweet potato with the purple-brown skin, never saw any other kind. Pumpkin sweet potatoes is a new one for me. Never even heard of them. ^^

I know we would all love to have a Jimin in our life, who wouldn’t. He’s loyal, supportive, emotionally evolved and freely shows affection, doesn’t ascribe to the ideas of toxic masculinity and doesn’t shy away from showing love. We should all have a Jimin, buttttt .....we should also all strive to be like Jimin. Learn from him and be a support for others, make someone’s life better just by existing. We should all be a Jimin. And thankfully Jimin has his own Jimin, which is his dad <3 so my baby also feels the love and support he deserves

Vmin relationship is rare, not because it's hard to find per se, but because it's hard to build. People think that this relationship happened overnight, when it is in fact the result of MANY, many fights, many moments of misunderstanding, moments of arguments and so on. They got this relationship because they actually communicate after a fight and want to work their relationship out. They are loyal to eachother. In usual friendships, people just go after one fight, don't take the time to understand eachother, hold grudges, don't respect eachother and most importantly, don't communicate at all. They don't take the time to understand eachother and think that friendship should only be laughters and hugs and so on, just ups, no downs, and if there are downs, then it's not worth it anymore, and they just go. Vmin never left eachother, never held any grudges, always tried to keep their bond which grew bigger and bigger after the years. This is why their relationship is rare, it is rare to find because it's very hard to build. And this goes for romantic relationships as well, not just friendship. If you are not willing to understand the other person, call that person out with respect when they do something wrong or hurt you, communicate, then there's no point. Vmin are incredibly different and yet manage to keep their close bond thanks to all the work and all the energy they put into their relationship. They BOTH want to make it work, and they BOTH take their relationship seriously. They BOTH only have good intentions regarding their relationship, they BOTH want to be a support for one another, someone to lean on. They both trust and love eachother deeply. Very few people are willing to do this, and this is why people don't have friends like Vmin.

I feel DT knows, he said it must be tough on him and he is glad that he has his members. I really like that he doesn't address it head on,, it feels more respectful of the situation.

V cuddles anything is vicinity when he's a sleep, a pillow, a human, a plushie, feet... whatever around.... that's his sleeping habit 🥺 ....... The Vimin friendship is such a goal, the way Jimin comforts V whenever he is down just the way he needs, Taehyung really didn't get time to process what happened or to grief properly, he just needed someone to hold while he cried. and the way V takes care of Jimin and always pays attention to what he says and do his best to give him what he needs even when he acts all cool and with no care in the world. These two really care about each other in the best way possible. If you watched the friends sub unit video from 2020 festa V says going to school with Jimin felt like going to school with family, and Jimin says they reach a level of understanding no one can achieve unless they spent all of this time together like they did. I really envy the vimin friendship,,, all of us need such a relationship in our life.

JIMIN's “Jimin” is his “Father” who supported Jimin to pursue this career knowing well Jimin already had great future as Modern dancer, always reminded Jimin through call / msg that he's proud of jimin, always sent flowers with wishes on jimin's birthday knowing jimin cant come home bcs of work. From that little we know about his father i can tell how much Jimin takes after him, His father is really such a sweet person. Such a beautiful father son relationship

Idk if you saw the comments from your previous posts of BV, but Taehyung's grandfather passed away and that's the reason why he's emotional in this season. Also the reason why he's late. Jimin was always with him in this season btw.. The song Jimin played is one of the demo of Fake Love.

I just want to say that I noticed you mentioned that Jimin was a great person to have as a friend because he is so affectionate and it is nice to have someone around who will give you a hug. Recently, I had the same thought about Jimin, and I think he is a rare person to meet. There aren't many people like him in the world, at least not in my experience. I'm not just talking about men being affectionate to other men but men being affectionate to woman and to children too. In America it does seem like it is looked down at to show emotions or affection towards others no matter who they are. Jimin is a nice reprieve from that.
