FIFA 23 - READ FUTBIN GRAPH

How to read Futbin Graphs?

Where to find Futbin Graphs

Futbin Graphs are on every Card Page. On the Desktop version, it's slightly below the current prices and just in the middle between the chemistry style options and the general information about the card. On mobile, it’s the bottom half of the screen.

By default it's set to “Daily Average” and it shows the complete Daily Graph.

How does Futbin collect data?

Futbin uses EA bots to collect prices. These bots are working almost all day and are very accurate, especially during the early stages of the game. However, as we get more and more cards, these bots are just not enough to keep up with every card and some cards don’t get a price update.

Price Updates and when these are made are also displayed on the website. These give you an idea of how recent the price is. A recent price update means more accurate prices, an old price update means less accurate prices.

A card likely gets multiple price updates. In that case (which is 99%), the current price is still displayed right next to the player on top of the player page and the graphs below put an average for the specific day/hour.

These three points are the main reason why Futbin does not offer live prices. We use Futbin to look back and understand the market. If we want to interact with the market, then we use the FUT Market in the game.

Daily Average

First Views SEE IMAGE NUMBER 1 IN ATTACHMENTS

The above is the daily average view. The x-axis shows the time and the y-axis shows the price. If your page does not look like this, then it's probably because of the mode. The red arrow shows you where to switch between “Graphs” and “IRL” stats. Make sure to have it on “Graphs”.

The “Daily Average” option is good to see past price movements. Futbin saves the data for the whole year so we can look far back and see what happened, even for previous years!

A few important things worth mentioning here:

1st – Futbin and our Discord use the UK time zone, which can shift the daily average prices if you are from a different time zone/area.

2nd – You can change the console with the buttons on the bottom.

3rd – These are average numbers, which means these cards were higher and lower throughout the day.

4th – This graph option is recommended for long-term projections and less recommended for short-term projections.

Hourly Average

Hourly Graph SEE IMAGE NUMBER 2 IN ATTACHMENTS

The above is the hourly graph. The x-axis shows the time and the y-axis shows the price. This view allows you to analyse the short-term market movements for the past three days. As the name already says, these are average prices and we usually have cards below and above these prices.

Short-term market movements are key for many trading methods and I recommend using this view for more detailed information.

A few things worth mentioning here:

1st – The current day starts at UK Midnight.

2nd – Futbin saves the hourly data for the past three days only, after midnight the oldest hourly graph is gone.

2nd – The mobile version has a different view with an option to show the graphs in the local time zone, make sure to switch it to the UK time zone.

Low and High Points

Fluctuation SEE IMAGE NUMBER 3 IN ATTACHMENTS

This is a very easy example for Low and High points because Alejandro Gomez IF is one of the cheapest 87-rated IF cards. As soon as Futbin records a cheap price for him, he gets into the top solutions for a few SBCs and the demand rises. A separate guide will follow for this, but just so you know why there’s a repeating low/high pattern

The peak is green, the low is red-circled. A specific guide for this is the following too.

It’s important to know that Futbin doesn’t catch every peak/low point and you can probably find deals on the actual FUT Market every hour. It’s also important to know that not every graph looks like this. Most graphs are rather flat compared to this one.

Special Cases

Content Release

Content impacts the FUT Market and this is also noticeable on the graphs. Most of the time, content-related price jumps are at 6 pm UK time. If you notice a big spike or drop at 6 pm it's most likely due to new content.

I recommend doing your research and finding out why a specific card has a sudden rise/drop. If you can’t find the answer or you aren’t sure, then you can always ask me/us in the chats.

Missing Data

Gaps in Graphs SEE IMAGE NUMBER 4 IN ATTACHMENTS

A very common issue for the PC Market but this can happen on any console. Sometimes Futbin just doesn’t have the data. Like in this case, there’s missing data between 9 am and 3 pm UK time.

These situations are very unfortunate for our trading as it makes everything a bit harder and sometimes it also means skipping a trade due to missing data.

Wrong Price Range/Price Range Update

Extinct cards SEE IMAGE NUMBER 5 IN ATTACHMENTS

That is usually how a wrong Price Range or extinct cards look on a graph. For the first days, there was a Telles on the market and Futbin was capable of recording a price, but then the graph shows the price as “0”. That’s because Futbin couldn’t record a single Telles on the market for a few days. After the new Price Range, the line goes up again and continues the normal market movement.

Summary

- Futbin Graphs are averages and never live prices.

- Daily Graphs for long-term movements, Hourly Graphs for short-term movements.

- Make sure to check for special cards such as missing data or content-related price changes.
