Black Friday Guide – When to buy and sell your squad

My original file is corrupt, I cut this very, very short now…

THIS IS ALL PERSONAL OPINION HERE EA can decide everything and we know how easy it is to screw traders… My stuff always has a reason and I hit like 70-80% of it right. Take this as a guide and not an ultimate thing.

What is Black Friday? (very short)

We usually get many promo packs (and many smaller SBCs for packs) + the best IFs from the previous 10 TOTWs. I think we could maybe even see some other special cards. 

Low Tier Golds (Dembele, Ter Stegen, Lenglet etc)

I think its very likely that these are getting killed over Black Friday.

I would sell them before and aim to buy during the pack openings.

Medium Tier Golds (Griezmann, Salah, Mane etc)

You will hear this a lot, but you have 2 options here.

I can see some panic before Black Friday making them drop some good % and rise back up during Black Friday (if higher or lower depends on EA).

Or you can wait for Black Friday and hope to get a good deal on some Lightning Round on these..

I personally would sell them today and wait for the dip. Buy time is aimed for Sunday-Wednesday. 

High Tier Golds (Mbappe, Neymar, Messi etc)

I think these are the most drop resistant cards. I can see Neymar going from 1.1m to like 1m during the panic, maybe a bit lower, but he should rise back up. 

You can hold these through Black Friday or sell today and buy between Sunday – Wednesday for a cheaper price again. 

Icons

Icon are the most panicable cards you can think of. I can see some Icons going really low the days before Black Friday and then rise up after the first day of Black Friday.

I can almost guarantee you that you will see some Icon deals the first 1-3h of Black Friday, but you buy window is very tiny and I would focus more on the pre-crash.

I would sell my Icon(s) today or soon and aim to get them during the panic. 

IFs

This depends on EA which IFs they are putting into the Best Of TOTW…

I personally would buy IFs before Black Friday just to be safe, but I can see some dipping and going a bit lower during Black Friday. 

Just don’t really see much going that low, its not like every will pack a Mane IF during Black Friday, the drop % is still low…

Other Special cards (RTTFs Screams OTWs)

I would buy these before Black Friday too! I would maybe wait until the last days before the promo to see if we find any code saying “all special cards” just in case EA decides to put more than IFs in packs.

I hope this cleared some questions, I decided to wait a bit on this and not spread much panic.
