My Well Being Update
Added 2023-05-06 15:33:22 +0000 UTCAs many of you may know that in early 2022 I had been through a challenge in my life. On January 6, I had a cystectomy done. The operation lasted 12 hours from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. It was very successful.
What is cystectomy? Well, a very familiar term here is amputation of the bladder due to the diagnosis of aggressive bladder cancer. Fortunately, my surgeon offered me an option which is using a section of my intestine and sewing it to make a substantial bladder internally, so that I can perform my duty of peeing normally as before. I am very happy to tell you that my Neo-blabber works well and to date, I can do everything I used to be able to do.
Last week, the report of my regular check-up/follow-up showed very satisfying results, on signs or evidence of any abnormal or recurrence of cancer. Thank God and the medical team who did a great job. Thank you for all of your support during my difficult time and for your continuing support.
My apologies for not being able to post as much as I planned in the last couple of weeks since I have been tired of some other stuff. But I do think of you guys and my ongoing artwork all the time. Just have not been able to finalize them and share them with you yet. Thank you for your concern and patience. Stay turned. 😊❤️
