“Tucked away beneath the flickering neon wash of Kabuki’s side streets, Cafe Zero is a tight, glass-walled capsule of calm in the storm that is Night City. With marble-top tables, chrome-legged stools, and a ceiling of warm wood and lowlight strips, it’s the kind of place where runners recharge, corpo interns decompress, and net-jockeys sip synth-lattes while quietly patching their ICE.
The espresso’s real—if you know who to ask—and the baristas don’t care what you’re running, as long as you don’t bleed on the floorboards. Ambient lo-fi hums beneath the dull hiss of steaming milk, and the whole joint smells like citrus cleaner, ozone, and just a trace of gun oil. Whether you’re laying low or jacking in, Cafe Zero is where you wait out the heat—with a double shot and a side of plausible deniability.”
Hi everyone!
Here we go, fresh out of the oven, the battle map to end the month - Cafe Zero.
To date, I have not yet drawn a cafe location and I figured this might be a great time to do it because of late, I have been inspired by this cafe that is about 5 minutes walk from my place in Adelaide, Australia. Here are some photos I took for reference.

This small, neat cafe provides the perfect spot for a caffeine hit in the near cyberpunk future where space comes at a premium.
This was an initial sketch I did of the premises based on the photo reference.

Bullets tear through the cramped neon-lit cafe, shredding tables and flipping chairs as chaos erupts. Shadows dart behind overturned furniture, every heartbeat syncing with the relentless gunfire. Amid the storm, a lone figure sits at a cafe table in the back, fingers flying over a laptop, racing to upload something vital the future of humanity before the assailants break through. Time bleeds out, and survival hinges on that desperate digital lifeline.
A narrow flight of stairs at the back of the cafe leads up to this cramped office—a hidden hub where the owner handles business accounts and shuffles through paperwork.
This office can also be used as a standalone battle map and inserted whenever your story’s narrative calls for it.
Your team arrives to find the safe tucked beneath the desk cracked open, its contents—critical evidence or ledgers—vanished without a trace. There’s no sign of forced entry or damage; this was a clean, professional job, executed with pinpoint precision.

PS: I’d like to thank each and every one of you for supporting the work I do. Without your help, all of these cyberpunk battle maps would not exist.
