"Brought your dane in to the vet, huh? What's he in for? Oh, sorry, didn't mean to surprise you. Yeah, I can talk...for now. Nobody brought me in, I'm here for myself. My doctor referred me here, said they could take care of me better than he could...I think he just wants to wash his hands of the situation, but he's right, I'm more dog than human now. I'm half expecting the vet to try to send me back to him.
I'm pretty far past the point of trying to figure out what's going on and stop it or reverse it, nobody seems to know. Right now it's just describing the latest aches and pains and weird feelings, and being told that's normal for someone going through...this. Haven't experienced any mental changes, thank god. I've kind of come to terms with the idea that ending up a talking dog would be better than losing my mind...I've got a really understanding boyfriend back home. He's been my rock through all of this, comforting me, letting me curl up on his lap...although considering the circumstances, we haven't really...y'know...for a while. But I think he'll take care of me regardless of how things turn out.
