Don't lose a wizard's duel
Added 2024-11-20 04:17:28 +0000 UTCIt all happened so quickly...it usually does. One witch or wizard thinks they've got everything figured out, and soon learns that they don't. And it's always over something petty...some slight or insult disproportionate to the long-lasting, dangerous spells being slung around. In this case, it was insinuated that she'd been sleeping around...juvenile accusations that a more mature witch would ignore or even leverage to her own advantage. But she blazed with anger, and demanded a duel on the spot.
It took less than ten seconds. Her impetuous curse was blocked, she failed to anticipate the countercurse hurled back at her, and that was the end of it. Now not only was she known to be promiscuous, but also a bloated, obscene pig. There was no sense in pressing the issue any further...glancing around the courtyard at the forlorn statues of other former students, she knew her tormentor could've done much worse. Now it was just a question of researching a spell to undo it...if such a thing was even possible.
