Added 2024-09-06 02:46:25 +0000 UTCEveryone says possums might look kind of ratty and diseased, but they're actually clean, diligent, and friendly creatures, once you get to know them. Case in point, this possum girl I met walking home the other night. I offered her some trash I had, a chocolate bar wrapper, and she licked off the remaining chocolate and gave me a shy smile. Then we banged in the alley behind my apartment. Sweet girl. I didn't get her number, since she's a possum and doesn't really have a number, but she told me to listen for her screaming at the top of her lungs outside my apartment some night. I told her I'd keep an ear out.
