A rat's tail...
Added 2024-06-09 03:05:17 +0000 UTCShe'd known thievery was a risky profession, but didn't understand the sheer depths she could fall to...she'd been in and out of jails around the kingdom for ages, but one job gone wrong was the final straw. Her record caught up to her, and she was sentenced to a year in Morbane Prison, which drew gasps from the crowd. A prison administered by wizards...somehow she'd never heard of it, but a year didn't sound so bad.
As she was led down the halls to her cell, she learned the true horror of the place. It seemed less a prison and more a zoo...bestial shrieks and grunts echoed from every corner, and the arms that clawed for mercy from the cells were covered in dark fur. Beady eyes gleamed out of the darkness at her, chanting..."A human! A pretty girl! But not for long, not long!"
After just a few days of enduring the endless yowls and chittering, she learned what that meant, watching the fur slowly overtake her own body and feeling new buds sprouting along her stomach. The next morning, she was awakened by a sharp pain at the base of her spine. She'd rolled over onto her tail...a rat's tail, a fleshy, undulating thing that was now a part of her...
It had only been a few days...what could happen in a year's time?! Would she even be recognizable by the time she was released?
(I made this pic a long time ago and loved the pose, but it got "deep fried" by the upscaling which was really disappointing. Now with newer techniques in my arsenal, I was able to remix it and I'm really happy with the result. 🙂)
