August Update/Upcoming Transcriptions

First of all, thank you to all July patrons for joining the community. Your support is making many of these transcriptions possible, and you’re helping musicians around the world play the music they love. I’ve got quite a few transcriptions I’ll be publishing on YouTube, and here on Patreon, during this summer. This revised list supersedes the “Upcoming Transcriptions” post I made a while back.

Charge Upfront
Starting today, I’m changing the pledging structure. Patreon (finally) just enabled the Charge Upfront feature for all creators. This allows me to charge new patrons on the day they pledge. This means that new patrons don’t have to wait until the first day of the next month to access rewards. Existing patrons will not be charged twice, but just once for August.
Future Plans
My next goal of 200 patrons is geared towards sponsoring a learning series for classical pianists. I’d like to create a trove of resources for classical pianists trying to learn jazz. Reaching the next goal will afford me the time and resources to start this project.
I’d also like to create a how-to-transcribe videoseries on YouTube. Patronage will also support this project.
