Finished sketchbook, new sketchbook!

I managed to finish my last sketchbook before June ended and I'll have to see if I can do another sketchbook tour video because I was really happy with this one. It didn't have a brand name but I got it a craft store so definitely gotta see if they have more. It's square like the Illo brand and I've become a fan of that but the paper is way better than Illo in my opinion. It handled markers and paints really well C:

The new one is a canson brand. I painted the cover with acrylic and posca and outlined it with some glow in the dark paint. It looks cool! There's a little tradition I started back in 2018 to help when I had serious anxiety about starting a new book. I decorate the inside of the cover and the first page.

My first sketchbook I decorated had fortune cookie papers from the times my mom ans I went to the local chinese buffet. It's been a thing ever since especially now that it makes me think of her 💖 Im trying to be more creative with tape, paints and things i've collected :3 Then on the first page I try to make some positive goals and affirmations for what I wanna do. And if I don't reach those goals then its okay!

Again, thanks to everyone for the support. And to everyone who leaves a like, comment or feedback. It helps me want to keep drawing. Like, we try to tell ourselves to do what we like but sometimes a little validation can go a long way!
