"A mere month before Vanessa bought Hannah her mansion in Miami, a young, naive, and timid Kelly White was locked up in her bedroom by her own parents, the eighteen year-old girl not allowed to go outside without supervision, not allowed have friends outside their church or talk to people at school, or even watch television or go to the movies. And yet, Kelly did her best to sneak news of the outside world into her private bedroom, the young girl often buying magazines and hiding them under her bed despite the fact they were not even pornographic and just about pop culture. Kelly was scared her parents would find these magazines for many of them featured The Magical Girl Hannah Deangelo on the cover or within their pages, a girl Kelly found herself idolizing for she believed they shared the same 'magical powers'.
Yet while Hannah was free to use her 'magical powers' in public and have wild fun, Kelly's remained hidden from the world, the equally magical redhead scared to use her powers for her parents told her they came from demons. Kelly always did her best to ignore her parents' hateful opinions, especially when it came to Hannah Deangelo, but now she was the subject of their hate. Following a twisted Christian doctrine that was widely rejected by more common followers of Christ, the Whites subjected their own daughter to torture, beatings, and even exorcisms once they learned she was like Hannah. Finally pretending she had been cured, Kelly instead hid her powers from her parents and acted as if she was thankful for saving her.
But if Kelly has all the same 'magical powers' that Hannah Deangelo has, why does Kelly have to hide them while Hannah enjoys them to their fullest? If Kelly can walk through walls or teleport anywhere in the world, why does Kelly have to obey the locks on her doors? Why does she have to let her parents yell at her when she can control their minds with her own? Why isn't Kelly a super-hot, super-famous babe with a fandom of her own? If the world thinks Hannah might be God, could they think the same about Kelly?
This is the story of Kelly's awakening, an awakening which could prove bad for those who have abused Kelly in the past."
