Thank you soooooo much for asking the question 🫂🫂🫂. He answered it on the last q&a and I had to come back to thank you personally on the comment. Thank you again!!! A real one 🩷

We need more politics !

Knokkel knokkel

prosaic. fast talking. over enunciating.

Darren Ankenman

Great conversation and good example of how interesting people are when they aren’t talking about politics!

Jonathan Davis

I worked on most of the Menendez ministries in the ‘90s, and I worked on a movie which the Menendez father was associated with. His murder apparently affected the release of that movie. I’ll probably check out the new one, based on what I’ve heard.

J Hay

Eh… They can’t all be slam dunks. Part 1 of this was insufferable. But this was a fun listen. Especially when she interviews Bret.

Erix Antoine

I would be severely disappointed if he hasn’t

Harold B

I’ve noticed this too. Guests who say they listen to the podcast still ask for clarification about which eagles he means. Ffs just answer the question

Harold B

Kurtz is right: the HAMLET soliloquy is so embarrassing. (But I disagree with her about JOKER 2.)

Bryan

MEGALOPOLIS is terrible and no, Bret, you did not miss a thing by not seeing it in IMAX.

Bryan

So glad this was a double episode!! More please!

Michael Bronspigel

Not sure where to post this question, but can anyone remember which episode Bret discussed the Bee Sting on?

Adam Carey

I’m Gen X baby!

Mary Walker

More enjoyable than the first part.

FlyingWaffle

Yes, the band!!!! For Christ Sake. I don’t know how Bret holds it together. Otherwise, I enjoyed this episode.

Phoenix

She's addressed this really well on her channel, and sees it as smart and necessary. The judge wasn't allowing the use of a bulk of his evidence and its was going to be an expensive waste of time.

Paul Church

I'm lefty as hell and these two episodes with Kristen were superb and refreshing. You two really get to the heart of left dysfunction. Kristen's YouTube channel Colonel Kurtz is among the best out there, and getting to hear her and Brett in conversation was a real treat.

Paul Church

One of the best guests ever.

Romeo Delta Charlie

Will do, Florence.

Patrick

Yea this one was more tolerable.

Happyhead

And he has to pay her hundreds of thousands for her lawyer fees lol

Happyhead

I didn´t get it either

TimAnder

In the next platinum question, can someone ask if Bret has ever tried ecstasy 🙏🏾🙏🏾 plz and thank you if anyone sees this and takes pity on me

Florence

Am I the only Silver member no longer getting email notifications about new episodes?

Nathan Stack

So right about Freud and Wharton. I find myself constantly referencing both while teaching.

Carina

our expert colonel is probably livid right now reading about marilyn manson dropping lawsuit agains evan rachel wood.

Oleg

In the book, Patrick Bateman gets into Dorsia twice, once only because his brother Sean was able to get a reservation & the second time was because he impersonated someone on the list & was caught by the maitre d’. The scene where Patrick awkwardly attempts to jibe with the African American guys at the club would’ve also been hilarious to see in the film adaptation ha ha

Ryan Peck

am going to listen on my run. will say more later, after my run.

richard owain roberts

glamorama is underrated

Poetical Gore

Glamorama is my number 1 and most re-read.

Patrick

Great episode. Loved the AP talk because after maybe 20 years I’m rereading it riiight now. 🙌

Patrick

Haven’t read Imperial Bedrooms & White yet either.

Ryan Peck

I’ve read Less Than Zero, The Rules of Attraction, American Psycho, The Informers, & The Shards & although I like them all, I like The Shards the best! I’ve yet to read Glamorama & Lunar Park, but I’ve heard those are also considered masterpieces.

Ryan Peck

This one was less deranged entirely because BEE is great at being interviewed.

M. Nero Nava

I usually look forward to new episodes every week, but this two-part guest appearance was disappointing. It didn’t offer anything new or insightful. I was particularly interested in hearing more about Bret and his work, but the segment felt too short—almost like it was cut in the edit. They didn’t even get around to discussing The Shards, which was a letdown.

Darren

As you might have surmised, I didn’t get nearly that far in version 1. At least this time they are talking about books and movies and not trump

Keith campbell

Bret didn’t ask what she thought of The Eagles at the end of the previous episode, that was a big clue there would be a Part 2

Ryan Peck

😂

Coats & Ties

Let the meltdowns begin!

Billy Schafer

You’ve got to be kidding me.

M. Nero Nava

Oh no .. there’s a part 2 of this person ?
