I love 3 days of the Condor. It has to be "all about the style" because the storyline is ludicrous. He breaks in at gun point and has sex with tue owner of the apartment!? He gets all chummy with the man that murdered his girl friend? However I still love the film.

Is it? If ir is, I didn't get the memo. I'm not gay

Movies I remember not being allowed to watch was Jaws, The Warriors and nothing much else. But those two resonated giving shivers to summer swimmers and gangland antics, spurred by english teacher reading out loud ab Nicky Cruz - gangland NY. Offcourse everyone lost interest when Nicky got "reformed" into straight life after the hellish experience of being stalked by "The Dark".

He said he theorized, no one will ever really know and it doesn’t matter - but points to you for the box office correction, those points can be exchanged for a large teddy bear at the kiosk on your way out

Oh man, I still love the The Burbs! And I miss silly Tom Hanks.

I LOVE Flight of the Navigator!!! Also, I had watched Fame earlier this year because it happened to be streaming and I realized I had never actually seen the movie, although I was really into the knock off TV show as a kid. Bret's review nailed it, the good and the bad. Hot Lunch Jam was magical. They definitely do not make movies like that anymore. And on another note, speaking of Michael Sembello, any chance Bret would like to review the work of Adrian Lyne??? :) My guilty pleasures, haha.

Trying to claim Fred Rogers was a closeted gay man was incredibly lame, there is no evidence and François Clemmons who is gay and knew him for decades said there is no way he was. Fred had one throwaway comment to an openly gay doctor friend of his saying he has found men and women "attractive" but that's hardly anything and actually fits his whole caring loving personality. The 'Burbs was also a moderately successful film not a flop and has gained an avid cult following over the years.

Fantastic episode. What a wonderful man, Randall. So warm and deeply experienced. Great convo.

Watched Fame cos of this. Excellent film. I thought it was something I could quite happily get through my life having never seen, but I'm glad I watched it. It's a lot darker than I ever imagined from the songs I was familiar with.

Billy Vega

Is this Gays Only?

Jan Rörvik

God, I loved the reviews. I had to laugh out loud when the theme music hit so perfectly. I laughed in glee at BEE’s virtuosity. Keep it up

"We don't really care about spoilers on this podcast." And that's one of the reasons I love you, Bret.
