Super late to the party, but the last time I listened to Alien was when I was with a group of friends at the end of a trip and we were all exhausted but trying to power through the night since we had to leave for the airport at 4 AM. It feels like a happy coincidence to learn that my most recent experience of listening to Alien ("I love this but also I wish I could go to bed") was similar to your experiences making it!
