Important update

I've decided to completely set this patreon as simply a tip jar, aka there will be no guaranteed comic updates or rewards for pledging to it.

I had settled with the idea of using it to dedicate time to the comic, but that is becoming less and less likely as i continue to feel more and more overwhelmed. 

As some folks know, my mother and I are currently taking care of my sister and her family (5 children and shes pregnant with their 6th), and because her husband hasn't been able to put anything towards finances, we've been saddled with covering their expenses.

This was suppose to only be for 3 months at most, but it is going 8 months now, with no locked in plan for where they go from here (tho they claim they have a general idea, thats not really any sort of guarantee) 

Stress is a major contributor to aggravating my health conditions, and as time as gone on, my symptoms have gotten worse and worse.

Just as I felt I might be getting some solid ground to stand on mentally, a new hurdle happened. 

Early February, Somehow, some stranger got a hold of one of my mother's checkbooks and wrote and cashed a check for $1.4k. We managed to put a stop on the rest of the checks (which we found out they also tried to cash more of after that) and it's currently a full ongoing police investigation. The bank has thankfully been helpful, but...

The checkbook was for an old business acc my mother doesn't use anymore, it would not of been in open view or brought outside the house...so...either someone broke into our home and somehow managed to find it among all her things and only took that and left, or...someone with access to our home gave it to them.

Both options are horrible, honestly. Both make me feel incredibly unsafe, so my already easily worsened manic anxiety has pretty much been on full blast since then. of course, that means im stressed to the moon and back, and thus, my symptoms got even worse again. 

Just as i was beginning to somewhat calm because of the police being open and helpful with the whole ordeal...

Last Saturday, our mail, including a package with my mothers new check book and an amazon order i bought, was stolen from our mailbox. I noticed right away because amazon alerts me when my package arrives, but by the time i went out to get it, it was all gone. My mother checked her bank to see that her checkbook should of also been in the mailbox. 

Thankfully because we caught it early, we were able to go ahead and put a stop on that checkbook as well before they got a chance to use it, but now we have to head back to the police station again and file a new report for this too

I very much wanted to spend time on the comic, it was something I enjoyed greatly, but right now i simply cant find the time or motivation for it. i'm at my wits end.

I'm extremely sorry and I hope once the police mess is resolved and my sister's family finally leaves, maybe I can really do the things I enjoyed again.
