The Assassin and the Lemon Cakes

What's this, an exclusive leaked epilogue to GRR Martin's epic bestselling Song of Ice ad Fire books?!

Well... no. Actually it's just a little fanfic (fatfic?) that I concocted to celebrate the start of the new series. Still, I reckon it's got more action in it than the first two episodes combined!

I hope you enjoy it - whether or not you're a Thrones fan!

PS It's your support that has enabled me to write this and continue work on my other stories. Thanks so much! :)

PPS A bout of man flu this month and an upcoming holiday have set me back a little, but I'm close to finishing part 2 of the Perfect Dress and Part 5 of The Lady wot lunched. Both should be finished and posted in the earlyish May. (As always, if I post both during the month, I'll only charge Patrons for one.)

Thanks Jarrod! And yes, there are some bad ones - though I do feel I've read one or two good ones. Alas, can't remember where they were or what they were called.

Thanks Harry! It's ages since I read the books, so it's gratifying to hear that the voice sounded right. Personality wise I think I had the TV characters in mind. Always nice to have great, ready made characters to work with. It felt easier to write than my other stuff, so if I can think of any more Thrones scenes, I'll definitely write them up.

This is a brilliant tease, Halrion. Very impressed not only with the quite erotic (and humorous) descriptions of Sansa, but also how you've pulled off a nice facsimile of Martin's voice and very cleverly incorporated the personality of his characters. Thank you so much. Wish there was more, but I know you have other great writing to finish.

Well done indeed! There are more than a few G of T weight gain stories around, but most of them are simply crap. Poor writing, unrealistic weight gain, and plots that don't at all reflect the world Martin has created. Not surprisingly, you have managed to do much better in this short tale. Also, that is good news about the other stories you've got in the works. Hopefully your writing continues to go well.
