July 2024 Short Story Poll
Added 2024-07-06 15:16:20 +0000 UTCTime for the monthly short story poll! Just two options this month, I'm in the final stretch on More Gods Than Stars book 1! (If everything goes as planned, should have it to my editor and beta readers in August!)
Sunken Gods (Ishveos): At the mouth of the Santrich river, where the river becomes the sea, lie the shrines of abandoned gods, their inhabitants doomed to starve and wither, unless they can attract the interest of one of the deep dwellers of the ocean. (First look at the setting of More Gods Than Stars!)
Mage Errant What If: This one's a little different! This one will take an AMA format, where I'll let patrons ask me questions about how things might have gone different in the story. What would have happened if Hugh pacted with Bakori? What if Hugh and his friends had accepted Avah's offer of sanctuary during the events of A Traitor In Skyhold, and joined the Radhan? What if Alustin hadn't been caught and arrested by Indris' cult during the events of Jewel of the Endless Erg? Y'all pick the questions, I'll give summaries of the alternate timelines, and maybe some of their branches! (I've been thinking about doing this one for a while, pretty excited about it. This one's strictly non-canon, btw, there's no time travel or crosstime shenanigans in the Aetheriad.)

While I doubt you’d go down that route, I had somewhat assumed it would take a Silt Verses direction of ‘gods’. I’m looking forward to seeing what interpretation of ‘gods’ you’ve taken!
