Basilisk Street Issue 2
Added 2024-05-24 13:55:38 +0000 UTCTime for Basilisk Street Issue 2!
It was a struggle for me to not correct minor issues as I reviewed the script, hah. I would do this story very differently if I were to write it today.
But, as is, happy to leave it as an artifact of my earlier writing.
Next month it'll be back to Aetheriad stories, as well as Basilisk Street 3! Work on More Gods Than Stars is going at a great clip right now (knock on wood), and I just got the almost final cover art from my cover artist, Lukas Ketner. It looks so freaking good, y'all. Can't wait to reveal it! In... a few months, alas.
Anyhow, excited to hear y'alls thoughts on early John Bierce!

Oh, Robert Moses. What a character.

2024-06-20 07:42:49 +0000 UTCSuper secret government org travel witha gigantic white turbine powered airship because why not. The hidden bees are also pretty funny considering there literally was a gunsmith with beekerps and bees everywhere on a field before this arc lul.

2024-06-19 08:36:15 +0000 UTCGood to hear More Gods Than Stars is chugging along! Do you think the first More Gods Than Stars book will feature a bestiary entry for Ishveos? I'm looking forward to seeing exactly just what the differences are between Gaseous and Liquid Aether magics.

2024-05-27 07:43:56 +0000 UTCGeneral Walker reference is neat! Vaguely reminded of D20's Unsleeping City referencing real life architect Robert Moses, and having them as a major antagonist. The Benefactors are nice touch to the setting! Despite the exotic weapon stuff, I hadn't expected (potentially aliens?), but it fits right in with all the men-in-black shenanigans. Really been liking Basilisk Street on top of the monthly updates! Double the Bierce.

2024-05-24 17:47:36 +0000 UTCAny chance of us getting another Lavarnin or Limnus short? Both worlds developed such interesting magic and it’s a shame they haven’t gotten more of a limelight. Dying to hear more about soulweaving.
