2023-09-27 17:54:06 +0000 UTCI feel like this was conceptualized as an 8 episode series that was then extended to 12 eps once it became clear how much advertising money was at stake. GMMTV gets on my nerves with this! Almost all of their dramas would be better if they stopped at 9-10 eps. Extending them out encourages weak storylines that don't make sense or are never fully fleshed out, and they end up filled with useless or redundant scenes that screw up the shows pacing. Ex: Boss and Babe, The Eclipse, etc. They almost always loose me at episode 6/7 and I don't check back in until the penultimate. I get that they need to make money but this is why so many of the Japanese and Taiwanese BLs do better with the storytelling. They don't drag out the storylines for no reason.

2023-09-27 14:56:15 +0000 UTCI’m just frustrated this show had good concepts buried in the directors inability to cut any of his materiel..this should’ve been 8 eps MAX it was filled with so much shit that could’ve been taken out. I hope Joong and Dunk really get a better series after this one where they can actually do something unique and flex their acting because this did nothing for them to even try to get better..they need to get material that’s going to test them and push them to work harder because when you give them material like this..it’s like bare bones acting here and I see their potential.
