Heatwave
Added 2021-01-20 08:57:10 +0000 UTCWhile it's still cold outside, I wanted to draw something warmer. I miss worldbuilding with the Legacy cast so I drew something based off another older drawing from about two years ago I think?
Dalik'in/Dax is Creatik and Inaki is Valtik. These two clans of Creatians both are known for their high heat tolerance and abilities to work with fire. It's their whole thing. During the summers however, the heatwaves can be brutal and incapacitate the whole community. No one wants to go out and if they do, it's with the least amount of clothes possible and hugging the shadows cast by porticos and trees. Even the most romantic and physical of people refrain from touching others much. Inaki in particular both has an incredibly high tolerance for heat and a naturally high body temperature. He also loves his husband very much and is sometimes very horny. Usually these are great things—not so much during a heatwave.
The Raan clan is the polar opposite. They live in the high northeastern mountains where it snows almost all year round. Even their limbs stain blue like the way a Creatik and Valtik's burn near black. The Raan can deal with sub-zero temperatures and they've got the ice powers to go alongside it. All three clans have their own friendly rivalries, but also a symbiotic relationship. Walking AC units for heaters.
