Jan. 2025 Sticker Preview & Forecast

I know this is a few days late, but IN MY DEFENSE... It's still technically the previous year by the lunar calendar. Which brings me to the first stickers of 2025: Year of the Snake! 🐍 If you'd like to get the sticker sheet and postcard, OR the individual sticker, please adjust to the appropriate tier by 20th January! Did you know that ball pythons come in a huge variety of morphs?! I knew that they were pretty wild, but I didn't realise just how different they could be. You learn something new every day! Although let's be honest, the pumpkin pie python may well be the coolest of them all (don't tell the others).

And now for the weather...

This month's forecast started off foggy, but it's clearing up as the month goes on. As with many of you I'm sure, I've stopped doing resolutions and try to do S.M.A.R.T. planning (thanks, DMCS). On top of that, I'm hoping to try using more techniques from the tech world and go for weekly sprints -- without the stand-ups though. So I'll be doing sprint planning on Sundays so I have the week ahead all planned out. Importantly though, I'm trying to remind myself to be flexible. Life happens and shit will happen, as I saw back in November, and we can't avoid that. We can only adapt and adjust accordingly. Taking things a week at a time kind of makes sense to me, but maybe even that will change as we go on.

I know that's still all very vague, but know that I have things on the docket, and I'm particularly getting excited about them. It makes it feel all the more achievable, just seeing it all in the calendar. And I may not know where this all will lead in a month's time or more, but I'll try to be agile (LOWERCASE 'A', DON'T PANIC) about it. Hopefully you also have things in the works that keep you going, that you will be awesome at. Why? Because you ARE awesome. 💖
